The new bike (Kestrel 4000) is AWESOME! Rides fast and smooth. I plan on doing a review on it later in the spring, once I have a few more rides under my belt. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://tricraziness.blogspot.com/2014/04/tri-season-is-upon-us.html
Friday, April 18, 2014. Tri Season is Upon Us! Those Pearl Izumi Kits look good! Team Rev3 Summit was incredibly awesome! And hearing from our various sponsors. I think I know more about PowerBar. Than I have ever even needed to know. SBR Sports. Rounded out the day with an amazing presentation about their products that keep us show fresh and clean after swimming. (The smell of chlorine can really put a damper on a person's dating life. wait do triathletes even have time for that? This is a proof. Last w...

HOW IT ALL BEGAN. Newer posts →. IM Canada – PreRace Stress. September 8, 2013. Alright, so its been a week and I still have a lot of mixed feelings about my race in Whistler. I have a lot of jumbled up notes lying around that aren’t falling into place by themselves. So I’m just going to throw some stuff up here in some semi random order and apologize in advance if it doesn’t make sense. Not the worst sprain I’ve ever had, but my ankle doesn’t normally look like this. To transport my bike (and a bag of g...

Whatever...............: February 2011

View my complete profile. Sunday, February 13, 2011. People who know me know that as far as running is concerned, I would rather spend all day gouging my way along the AT, than spend one hour beating the pavement or the running track. This would be clearly evident also if one were to look in my closet at my running shoe collection. Two pairs of racing flats, two pairs of trainers, and up until Friday seven pairs of trail shoes. Second was the weight. At only 10 ounces they are almost as light as my r...

http://mtntriathlete.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
View my complete profile. Thursday, November 5, 2009. I can’t believe all of my training comes down to this….WTF. This year I’ve battled back from yet another calf injury only to have this happen…. Saturday is B2B and there is no way I’ll be able to even finish it….I can’t believe it. I’m supposed to do a short ride and run today but I’m afraid that if I do I may not recover in time to eat dinner again tonight. I’m so fat but I have to eat.eat.eat…. Damn I hate taper madness…….whatever man.

TriEricTri: Embrace the Suck
http://trierictri.blogspot.com/2014/09/embrace-suck.html
Friday, September 05, 2014. I have had this post in draft for a long time and feel it is appropriate for many facets of life. Wrote this is on his blog a couple years ago and I think about it often to help me push through tough times. Today I would like to introduce another habit of the masters – I will simply call it “Embrace the Suck! Turn Your Focus Outward. As you grow tolerant of pain, and can turn the inward strength that embracing the suck develops into an external expression of control and resolv...

TriEricTri: July 2012
http://trierictri.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 03, 2012. I found this on a friends blog yesterday and it made me remember the 14.5 years we had with Snickers. Of course we have Ruby and Riley keeping us busy with lots of love now. 8220;Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron, his wife, Lisa, and their little boy, Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle. Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stun...

TriEricTri: January 2013
http://trierictri.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 27, 2013. Running with a friend. Aimee had made arrangements for her long run to be with a couple of friends down in CVNP (Cuyahoga Valley National Park). I wanted to get in a long run as well so I tagged along for the two hours of running. However, I had plans of my own. I was going to get re-acquainted with a friend I hadn't seen in a long time. The peace and quiet of the woods was only broken by some birds or cars when the trail went close to some roads. The two hours almost went by to...
