Life and Faith: July 2010
http://thescepticalbeliever.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, 24 July 2010. When is the Church not the Church? I'm a bit late in the day on this, but someone at work alerted me to this. Recently and I was a little horrified so I decided to do some digging. This is what the Church of England had to say about the case (see here. This makes me really angry! In the Bible, in the New Testament, the apostle Paul refers to the church as "the body of Christ". When the church puts financial gain - even financial need - first, and uses this to justify forcing a cou...

The Rev and a Dog: A day off
http://therevandadog.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-day-off.html
The Rev and a Dog. Thursday, 13 August 2015. Getting to Kilkeel last night meant that I could begin the day off here. The journey was pleasant and included a walk on the promenade at Newcastle; the beach has become more stone than sand. I'd not seen the bronze claw before . and Dougal posed nicely without being on the lead! His obedience is impressive. As a reward he got two new toys . and shows little interest in either. Finally, last night was "treat time" for me too! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Rev and a Dog: Dougal
http://therevandadog.blogspot.com/2015/08/dougal.html
The Rev and a Dog. Monday, 10 August 2015. Well he's written his piece for the Messenger . it is on the back page. You can read the magazine on the website https:/ saintnicholasparishchurchbelfast.shutterfly.com/themessenger or call in to the church and pick up a copy. Meeting new dogs in the park is now common . and he's become the popular friend who is always ready for a run and a game. And, when there's nothing else to do . a roll on the grass is just as much fun! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
