Look What I Did!!! | an oft traveled road
https://kimquiltz.wordpress.com/2011/05/29/look-what-i-did
An oft traveled road. We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out. -Ray Bradbury. Look What I Did! I went into Sister’s. Today and look what I brought home, “Central Park” by Moda. Wheeee! Isn’t it beautiful! Okay, so the picture could be better, but can you tell I’m excited? I have been eying this fabric line for a couple of weeks now, but when I found out it was called “Central Park” I HAD to get it! And it is PERFECT!

An Angel, Raphael | prayers for the oft traveled road
https://kimprayz.wordpress.com/2011/01/09/an-angel-raphael
Prayers for the oft traveled road. Within us is the soul of the whole, the wise silence, the universal beauty, the eternal One. Ralph Waldo Emerson. An Angel, Raphael. Today I went to my iconography teacher’s house to choose my next subject. Raphael is mentioned in the book of Tobit. Raphael travels with Tobias and there is a dog in the story. Need I say more? Besides, Raphael is so very beautiful. By Kimberly Mason on January 9, 2011. 6 Responses to “An Angel, Raphael”. Said this on March 1, 2012 at 12:...

Between the Lines: A Raindrop In Mid-Fall Is A Split-Second Shot

Thursday, April 19, 2012. A Raindrop In Mid-Fall Is A Split-Second Shot. Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head. With silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby. The rain makes still pools on the sidewalk. The rain makes running pools in the gutter. The rain plays a little sleep song. On our roof at night. And I love the rain. Posted by Donna Henderson. Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;. A tree that looks at God all day,. And lifts her leafy arms to pray;. A tree that may in Summer wear. A nest of robins in her hair;. Upon whose bosom snow has lain;. Who intimately lives with rain. Poems are made by fools like me,. But only God can make a tree. Posted by Donna Henderson.

Thursday, February 17, 2011. On Finding My Look After 60 Years of Searching. To grow old and wise, you first must be young and stupid.". 65279;Following 40 years of marriage, I lost my husband in the spring of 2009 on the same day my mother died. As the fallout of that emotional nuclear blast continues to settle, the full impact of the result - an unexpected and unprecedented personal freedom - is beginning to dawn on me. It's in there somewhere. Maybe it's "black humor," but it's funny, no? Perhaps I've...

Between the Lines: A Widow's Collection of Inspirational Scenes
http://dlhenderson.blogspot.com/2011/11/inspirational-scenes.html
Thursday, November 10, 2011. A Widow's Collection of Inspirational Scenes. These are all photos I've taken since my husband died in 2009. I know that he is always with me, but I feel closest to him when I am outdoors in the Cathedral of Nature. Many places claim to be "God's Country:" here are a few I've found in Idaho, Utah, Oregon and Montana. Sometimes, it's in my own back yard, if I look close enough. Posted by Donna Henderson.
