Drupal on Google App Engine. Wed, 05/15/2013 - 23:03. For the latest information see newer post. Today Google announced PHP support for Google App Engine. I have been one of the lucky folks who had early access and so of course I worked on getting Drupal. Up and running on GAE. There are a few things that still need to be worked out which I will continue to discuss with the app engine team, but I have a working Drupal setup. Getting up and running. I will cover the steps specific to getting Drupal 7.
