I usually try and write every year the anti-Christmas letter. The one in stark contrast to the letter that says something along the lines of: This year our family cured cancer, set two countries free, and single handedly save the entire city from a raging inferno. You know the letter. My daughter makes me laugh almost every day.

So, If you read fiscal crisis Part I (located in this blog) — then you know that the fiscal problems we face aren’t related to invasions of Iraq or Afghanistan, TARP, bailouts or tax cuts to the rich. As that blog pointed out, REAL problem we face is that we baby boomers created a lot of promises to ourselves that we aren’t willing to pay for. How did we get here?
