The Illuminist – Sol et Luna. A Shining Light – The Gift of Knowledge. I haven’t posted in awhile… I’ve been exceedingly busy and distracted these last few months. Three moves in less than a year is enough to really jumble your senses! Most importantly, after much thought, I’ve decided to finally commit myself to building effects and custom electronics full-time and treat it as a real business. Sometime during the next few weeks, I will be updating my commercial site, www.soulsonicfx.com. The Honey Bee C...

Ampeg Scrambler | Woody Laboratories
https://woodylaboratories.wordpress.com/2012/11/26/ampeg-scrambler
Here’s another oddball fuzz circuit. The Ampeg Scrambler is a very unique sounding fuzz pedal that I thought I would build, even though I really have very little use for it. Its sounds range from a mild mis-biased overdrive to a really bad (in a good way) squawk to 8-bit octave up sounds. Here’s the vero layout I used. Thanks Sabrotone! I thought about using the Ampeg logo originally, but I like the way the pedal turned out. Trackback ( 0 ). Comments ( 2 ). January 18th, 2013. March 29th, 2013. You are c...

Woody Laboratories | Page 3
https://woodylaboratories.wordpress.com/page/3
When I first got into pedal building this was one of the first builds I ever made. To be honest, it’s the perfect first build. It has a very low parts count, will fit in a tiny enclosure, and doesn’t require any “mojo” parts that will cost you an arm and a leg. Here’s the vero layout I used (Thanks to FUZZZZzzzz. From DIYStompboxes/FSB.org for creating this circuit and sharing the layout). Ask you “what pedal is that? Klone-Trooper (Bare-Bones Klon Centaur and Skreddy Mayo). The Bare Bones Klon, on the o...
