A day in the life of a working priest. March 23, 2011. Today we saw the installation of the Archimedean screw for the river bain hydro scheme her in upper wensleydale. It was quite an event lifting the 8.6 ton steel screw into position at the end of the leet. Just a month or so now and we should be starting to generate power and cut carbon dioxide emissions. At lease we’re trying to do our bit. As we are hoping to use any surplusses from the power generation to assist other local environmental schemes.
