My life, my thoughts, my walk. August 25, 2011. The last day of summer (last Friday), I took Ellie, Evan and some of his friends bowling. So it was me, a three year old, 1 eight year old, 3 seven year olds and a six year old. We had plans to bowl and then go have lunch. We were having a great time. The kids were all very enjoyable. They’re really becoming quite self sufficient. When I stepped away to get us some drinks I even noticed the older kids helping Ellie take her turn. Filed under God Stuff.

He asked me what gifts I thought He should give her. I answered Him, “None but the best I’m sure for one so lovely and precious and pure.”. My life, my thoughts, my walk. We should have just eaten at home…. April 5, 2011. The decision late this morning to pick up McDonald’s was the beginning of a series of unfortunate events today. We made it to McDonald’s and went through the drive-thru and then we were on our way. We headed south on the frontage road in Kyle, which means they are two-way frontage roads. These are very dangerous, but I’ve been driving them for the last 11 years so I’m pretty comfortable with them. Enter my heroes of the day:.

My life, my thoughts, my walk. Tater Tot Hash – One of our favorites! February 27, 2011. This recipe is a simple, yet delicious breakfast food. We usually have it for dinner. For some reason we just love breakfast for dinner. 2 Tablespoons of oil. 1 green pepper, finely chopped. 1 medium onion, finely chopped. 2 slices of ham or sausage, diced into 1/2 inch pieces (we usually use ham). 20 defrosted tater tots.
