The Train Fanatic!: Railfanning in Utah & Idaho
http://trainfanatic.blogspot.com/2015/08/rafanning-in-utah-idaho.html
My adventures, exploits, and obssession with Trains! 11 August, 2015. Railfanning in Utah and Idaho. Well, vacay is a but over. Nothing but the flights home. I had a great time and was very fortunate to go out and about first with Bernie Kempinski (http:/ usmrr.blogspot.com), who was out visiting family and Brian Brendell, who just moved out to Utah, and then with my nephew, Boston. Also did a couple of solo drive abouts, and finally hit some hobby shops. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Latest Indust...

The Train Fanatic!: Even Small Things Need A Little Planning
http://trainfanatic.blogspot.com/2015/01/even-small-things-need-little-planning.html
My adventures, exploits, and obssession with Trains! 09 January, 2015. Even Small Things Need A Little Planning. Not sure why I seemed so out of sorts on working on my little switching layout, but I knew I was. I was listening to the Boss tell our daughter to 'write it all out on paper' and you'll get it out of your head and you can relax. Aha! Wed Jan 14, 12:45:00 PM EST. It does help the PM in me. The Train Fanatic!: Background Structures/Flats - Assembly Progress, Part 2
http://trainfanatic.blogspot.com/2015/07/background-structuresflats-assembly_24.html
My adventures, exploits, and obssession with Trains! 24 July, 2015. Background Structures/Flats - Assembly Progress, Part 2. 1 Simple and will be 'good enough' of a placeholder for long term, until I figure out how to. Scratch-build a more prototypical structure. 2 Figuring Roof out, as the prototype has a galvanized roof and ridge vents all over it. Empty 'space' may have an exhaust vent installed, since it's over a 'garage' area. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). MARPM '16 (Our 4th Year)! Always welc...

The Train Fanatic!: Backdrop Install
http://trainfanatic.blogspot.com/2015/05/backdrop-install.html
My adventures, exploits, and obssession with Trains! 19 May, 2015. It has been a while since I've posted, but not much has gone on, with the warmer weather arriving. We've had many family, church, and work events that have taken priority. Recently, my lovely has done much to help me install the Trackside Scenery Valley Flat line of photo-based backdrops (www.tracksidescenery.com). Owner Joey Ricard does some amazing stuff, if you haven't seen it in person, go to the website. On our way out. :o). Here's m...

The Train Fanatic!: Background Structures/Flats - Assembly Progress Part 1
http://trainfanatic.blogspot.com/2015/07/background-structuresflats-assembly.html
My adventures, exploits, and obssession with Trains! 24 July, 2015. Background Structures/Flats - Assembly Progress Part 1. Been quite a while since I posted on here. Seeing some of my friends' blogs and how they are describing such great work on their layouts, has 'shamed' me a little to assemble myself and get some posts up here, so I'll blitz a few up here over the next couple of days. 1 Assembly is very easy and instructions were good with tips and tricks. Will hopefully drybrush the white on tonite.
