Sunday, September 12, 2010. Today we visited Cochem and Bernkastel-Kurs. Cochem has a castle on a hill and lots vineyards. I found some cheap embroidered tablecloths and bought some Birkenstock's. Monday, September 13, 2010. We drove to Aachen yesterday about 133 kl. The cathedral is were the Pope came to crown the king of Europe. Until England broke away from the Church. It was started in 785 by Charlemagne. Between 936-1531 29 German kings were crowned here. Beautiful stained glass. Thanx R.Graham, You shared interesting experienced with us. Aachen cathedral. We saw the beautifuly gothic Duomo. So many spires. Lake Maggiore. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Yesterday we left Rome and drove down to Pompeii and toured the site. Pretty amazing. Them on to beautiful sorrento. I went on a drive to positano and the Amalfi coast. Rick was tried so he stayed behind. But I went shopping! Today we are going to isle of Capri. Tonight dinner with a local family. Tomorrow we go to Assisi. Thursday, May 14, 2009. I really like what I'm doing now, I work with retirement plans for teachers in Southern California. Basically I do a lot of processing and I also answer calls from participants. It's great, I love the people I'm working with. It's like night and day from my last job. I almost forgot what it felt like to be appreciated and to work as a team. Here's a picture of my team! I hate this pic of me by the way, yech! Jasper has gotten pretty big, well big for him anyway! Thursday, December 27, 2007. She was crawling all over the place and getting into everything. Once we found her going through my mom's pantry and rearranging things. She especially thought that the uncooked pasta should go on the door instead of in their box! We had a nice party at our house for my mom's family. Friday, May 23, 2008. Take Me Out To The Ballgame! Tonight I went with some friends to watch the Salt Lake Bees. We had a lot of fun, except the Bees lost 17-4.yikes! It wasn't a very entertaining game to watch, especially when they let the other team score 9 runs in one inning. Sheesh! He kept feeding us his popcorn, of course!
