The Colvins: Texas Rangers, live!
http://colvinfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2011/08/texas-rangers-live.html
Monday, August 15, 2011. Texas Rangers, live! Every little boy has them. Maybe it's a sports figure. Maybe it's a community hero. Maybe it's an action hero. This little boy's hero . . . Josh Hamilton. Number 32. All Star outfielder for the Texas Rangers. 2010 MVP of the American League Championship Series. 2010 American League MVP. 2008 Home Run Derby participant, where he hit a record 28 home runs in the opening round and finished with 35 home runs, which was second-most all-time in derby history. The Colvins: May 2010

Sunday, May 16, 2010. A Day at the Park. Last weekend the weather was perfect for taking the kids to the park. We got the kids dressed and headed to Mellar Park. There were several other kids and families there, but it was not too crowded and all the kids got along fine. They have 2 playgound areas plus swings and monkey bars. Ainsley was better suited for the smaller playground equipment, but of course she had to try to do whatever Will was doing. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Colvins: May 2011
http://colvinfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 16, 2011. The weeks leading up to Easter were busy ones for us. Will started t-ball practice, Gill had a birthday (which I don't think I have any pictures from, at least not readily available), the kids had 3 egg hunts and Will was in an Easter play. The kids also did art work at Hope Landing that was displayed in the gallery during the play. Each piece was auctioned off with all proceeds going back to Hope Landing. I was so proud of all the kids and I'm so appreciative of the staff a...The k...

The Colvins: February 2010
http://colvinfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 16, 2010. That kid cracks us up; he really is funny! Friday, February 12, 2010. What we've been up to. Both surgeries went well. The ENT was able to put T-tubes in his ears, which are larger and more permanent, so hopefully these will last us awhile! I'm glad it's behind us now! She got better only to get sick a few days later. Will had a sinus infection and missed another day of school. Knock on wood, we have been well since. We also celebrated Mitch's birthday on the 10th. We had ...

The Colvins: July 2011
http://colvinfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 28, 2011. I was excited for him and proud of him! After the game we took him to Applebee's, his favorite place to eat. The kids went to VBS at First Methodist with mom (Mrs. Lindsey, Will's teacher, was the director) during the middle of June. They learned three of the songs and loved singing and dancing to them so much that we ended up with a CD of the music so we can listen to it whenever we want! Here they are performing for us! Monday, July 18, 2011. Then we drove on to Gulf Shores....

The Colvins: September 2010
http://colvinfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 14, 2010. After leaving ACH we went to the mall for a little while. We went to the hotel to let the kids recoup and then we went to Outback for supper. Ainsley was a little testy, but we had great food and shared a dessert. And she is still saying it). The admission to the zoo was free that day since there was a LR Razorback game that night - who knew? We left the zoo and went to our favorite LR dive, The Purple Cow, with the best turkey burgers around! Wednesday, September 8, 2010.

The Colvins: April 2010
http://colvinfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Ainsley Brooke Colvin, age 2. Ainsley's birthday was a few weeks ago and I wanted to document what she's like at age 2. So, here's a glimpse of what she's like right now. You drink lots and lots of milk! We're working on utensil use and drinking out of an open cup. You love airplanes and are keenly aware of them right now. You can hear and see them before anyone else. We never doubt when you point to the sky and say that there's an airplane up there. You also love p...You recen...

The Colvins: June 2010
http://colvinfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 28, 2010. Just a few funny things the kids are saying lately that I want to remember. . . Will calls his oatmeal "eatmeal" and Ainsley loves eating "strawbetties" and "bluebetties". Ainsley recently learned to sing her ABC's and it is so sweet. She mumbles through the LMNOP part, but otherwise knows all the words. Of course, R is pronounced with two syllables! Monday, June 14, 2010. On Memorial Day weekend, the weekend after Will's last day of school. And our visit to Guy and Julie's. The ki...

Thursday, July 29, 2010. He tried to take Ainsley but she chickened out. Mitch, Ainsley and I went on a nice long boat ride with several of my cousins later in the day, and she enjoyed that. Here are a few pics. Lexi, Matthew and Will. Lexi and Will enjoyed the tire swing. Lexi and Ainsley exploring a "cave". Will loved this big slide. Evan Myrick and Will playing in the pool. Ainsley and Lexi eating. Wednesday, July 21, 2010. The Life of Brownie Bear. I am in family pictures. Ainsley plays with me every...

The Colvins: February 2011
http://colvinfamilyjournal.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 27, 2011. January - February 2011. The weeks since Christmas have been busy for us. Ainsley got a new "big girl bed" the next week. She has done great with it and made the transition like a champ! 65279;Shepherd got a slide from G.G. and all the kids loved it. Shepherd got pretty upset- I don't know if it was because he had to get off or because Will and Ainsley were getting on it - but he was not happy unless he was on the slide! We had some winter weather in January and February, altho...
