Adventures in our new city. Tuesday, November 19, 2013. I came across some things in my reading that I found timely. In my study last week, Beth Moore talked about weathering a storm due to another person's poor judgement (in reference to the shipwreck Paul experienced on his way to Rome). I loved her tips for surviving these storms. Don't pull up the anchor. Stay anchored in Christ, the one who holds us steady until the storms begin to rage). Don't give way to the storm. Throw some cargo overboard.

Adventures in our new city. Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Tomato and goat cheese. After several dinner parties under my belt, I've come to realize that many people have their staple appetizers. You can ask any of my friends, this is my staple. 10 oz package of grape tomatoes. 1/3 cup of olive oil (make sure the entire bottom of your pan is covered). 2 tbsp chopped mint. 1 tbsp minced garlic (adjust to your liking). Adventures in our new city. Monday, July 29, 2013. There are few things that can disappointment me as much as a sour mixed margarita! I expected to come to Texas and every restaurant would have margaritas that were pleasing my palette. Not the case. Lupe Tortilla has one an incredible one but haven't been impressed by many others. Below is a picture of it. With The little carafe on the side; how can you not love it? Here's my recipe, hope you like it! 1 container of Simply Limade. A splash of orange juice.
