It emphasizes on the vivid overall effects rather than the details;. That's what it's all about. It leaves us to figure out every thought, emotion, and idea that is in it! Wonder why we learnt paintings in music class? They belong to the same period of romantic/contemporary music! I'm in awe of impressionistic art. :).
