We headed to a cocktail party for the new hospital in Abingdon.it is fantastic new hospital and a great addition to the town. Highlands Dance is a black tie event we get to go to three times a year. Friday, July 15, 2011. Revolution Dance and Gymnastics. We have amazing dance teachers that drive up from Asheville, NC that bring unparalleled expertise in this area. Our gym coach is fantastic with the kids, and such a talent! Not to mention Oliver thinks he is going to marry her :) It was not my life long dream or anything.it is a lot of work.and we are learning as we go. Friday, November 25, 2011. We decorated early this year so we could have it up for at least a little while before we left to Utah. We got a big tree this year too! The kids all helped decorate and it went pretty quickly.it was a super fun family night. And yes, it was before Thanksgiving! Friday, May 27, 2011. Oliver had his first preschool performance.he kept saying hi and then took off his shoes and socks.awesome! Although, the Christian preschool songs were quite entertaining :). Saturday, May 21, 2011. When Will My Life Begin. Isabelle performed "When Will my Life Begin" from Tangled, Disney's interpretation of Rapunzel. She loves going back to LA for her Colburn recitals. Sunday, November 20, 2011. Oliver had a Pirate Party for his 4th birthday.what else? He was especially excited about the bounce house and his "REAL" pirates.Luke and Cassi. The Wood twins who are 14.agreed to be our pirates for the day. They stole our treasure after the treasure hunt.and then that is when we saw the gang mentality! One screamed "Let's get em" and they were off! One had his knee on Luke's head! Poor pirates.they walked the plank.and definitely went above and beyond! Nani and Papa Whiting.

Saturday, December 10, 2011. Isabelle's Colburn Recital was a musical theater theme.and she got to do POPULAR from Wicked. The two girls and I flew to LA.my mom met us there. We ate in Little Tokyo,Yogurtland, at In n Out and Cheesecake factory. We went shopping in the fabric district in LA. We stayed at the Americana.which I love.with the fountains that dance to music, amazing stores and restaurants. Friday, December 2, 2011. Alexandra had a big day at gymnastics today! SHE GOT HER BACK HAND SPRING!

Saturday, November 19, 2011. Isabelle got Taylor Swift tickets for her birthday from Nani and Papa! It was a fast and furious trip to South Carolina (a late night for me :) But so worth it! She walked right by us and girls got touch her and see her up close! They had such a great time.and fell asleep before we even left the parking lot :) Thanks Nani and Papa.we had a blast!
