Rhodes Minnis Village Hall. Situated next to the Chapel, this was built in 1988 and has been regularly used by many organisations since. The village hall management committee runs a monthly beetle drive (a dice game) usually on the fourth Friday in the month and it is fun for all ages. It also holds two Flower Shows per year, in spring and in summer. And is always looking for new people to try their luck in entering the various classes and win some cups.

Unfortunately I had to go to work so I missed the event. Grand Slam Grass Track Meeting at Rhodes Minnis. I had seen the field in Rhodes Minnis filled with cars and caravans on Track meets in the past. However this year I decided to go in and see what it was like. There were 21 races in the Solo classes. The solo races are run anticlockwise for 3 laps of the track. These are thumbnails click to enlarge. The sidecars go round the other way.

For the 2013 Spring Show there were 121 entries from 17 people. The 2013 Summer Show had 194 entries from 24 people (and everyone who entered won at least 1 prize!
