Transitions in the Nations Capital : November 2012
http://ruthmnomad.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 11, 2012. I want to apologize for the lack of blogging. It seems once October got started.I felt as if I was the Nike swoosh going every which way. Between parties, the Eid, community band, small group. Time with people. Report cards, conferences. Before I knew it. It is now November. And I sit and wonder, how did that happen? So what has been going on? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This is just a little something with all my crazy adventures. View my complete profile. People who know me.

Transitions in the Nations Capital : Pause Button Required
http://ruthmnomad.blogspot.com/2016/03/pause-button-required.html
Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Because you just have too :). I haven't blogged in a while. So much has changed. I'm not living in the Middle East. I'm still hanging out with students but in a completely different capacity. Today I miss Jordan and there is a reason. So while you are celebrating, why not set up a visit with someone. Share life, pray, and catch up. Take a moment and pause. Brown Eggs dye well :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This is just a little something with all my crazy adventures.

I Heart Mockby: Sergiyev Posad
http://iheartmockby.blogspot.com/2009/05/sergiyev-posad.html
Because Dostoevsky would have blogged! Monday, May 4, 2009. Svetlana's English is pretty good, but her vocabulary is mostly for everyday conversation. So, she spoke in Russian, and Laura translated it so that I could understand. I didn't realize how good Laura's Russian is until Saturday. This is the Holy Trinity Lavra (Monastery) in Sergiyev Posad. There are three major Russian Orthodox monasteries in Russia, and this is most important out of all three. The Baroque bell tower. Igor showed us their banya...

I Heart Mockby: April 2009
http://iheartmockby.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Because Dostoevsky would have blogged! Wednesday, April 29, 2009. This is my Russian teacher, Svetlana Dubrovskaya. She is absolutely adorable, brilliant, and hilarious. Her son, Vasya, goes to the school. He's a senior who is fluent in English. In fact, he doesn't even have an accent. I'm fascinated by people who speak two languages and don't have accents in either one. Sveta's accent is very. I still need to write about Novodevichy Convent. I need more time! I've been working on my portfolio all day.

http://iheartmockby.blogspot.com/2009/05/wondering-will-you-ever-return.html
Because Dostoevsky would have blogged! Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Wondering will you ever return. A man said why, why does traveling. In cars and trains make him feel sad? A beautiful sadness,. I've felt this before. It's the people in the cities. It is everything you pass by. Wondering will you ever return? The Innocence Mission, "Song about Traveling". Me and Laura. I am going to miss her so much! Just a few days ago I was riding a boat and taking pictures of this bridge. It's sad leaving things behind!

I Heart Mockby: for every step of life
http://iheartmockby.blogspot.com/2009/05/for-every-step-of-life.html
Because Dostoevsky would have blogged! Saturday, May 2, 2009. For every step of life. I went to church with Laura last Sunday. It's a Russian-Korean church. It was.interesting. I'll leave it at that. I didn't understand much, but Laura bought an Orthodox prayer sheet at one of the metro kiosks and translated it for me to meditate on during the service. This is it here:. Glory to you, who has called me to life. Glory to you, who has revealed to me the beauty of the universe. Glory to you, God, forever.
