madness of many: October 2008
http://madnessofmanydesign.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Monday, 27 October 2008. I will be at all of then except the Hillhead one on the 13th as I have to work at my horrible Job Of Doom. Yech. Made in the shade. Made in the Shade at the Lighthouse was a success! Guilt free stags :. Dinosaurs and foxes, you can't get a better combination :. A much harrassed Martin who was roped into carrying all my stuff there:. Can't wait to do this all again! I also managed to keep my spending to a minimum but I did buy a small handmade book from Bindy Boo. Made in the shade.

http://madnessofmanydesign.blogspot.com/2010/03/name-drop.html
Thursday, 25 March 2010. Wow-wee, it's been a while since I was last here! And times they are a-changing. It's the Easter holidays and in between working and making I hope to become a little more organised and start posting regularly. Anyway, I was having a peruse through. Made in the Shades Flicker. And noticed that I had been name dropped not once, but twice! Here are little snippets I pinched, to see the full article head over. You may have to squint to see it but I'm there, exciting!

http://kitschycoo.blogspot.com/2010/02/sew-along-nitty-gritty.html
Saturday, 20 February 2010. The Sew-Along Nitty Gritty. I can now officially move the apostrophe from The Cool Girl's Club to The Cool Girls' Club because it's not just me anymore. We have heaps. So what do we do? First off, you'll need to get the book. For my UK friends, Amazon have it £10 here. For my American pals, Amazon have it for $16.50 here. I've started a Flickr group for the sew-along here. Please go and join it. Not only will it be a place for us to post our pictures but we can. So, the big qu...

Girl Industries: May 2013
http://girlindustries.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, 30 May 2013. But where would you keep it? Image courtesy LacklusterCo on Etsy. Reasons why I shouldn't buy this:. I haven't been within a 100 mile radius of anywhere in Pennsylvania since Christmas 2007. I like to model myself after the traditional English eccentrics, but I'm not sure that mounting this in a perspex box on the flat roof of my craft room is really viable. We get a lot of gulls, for one. I kind of wish this was still on a coaster somewhere. I'm not made of money. Just look at it!

madness of many: December 2008
http://madnessofmanydesign.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Friday, 12 December 2008. He's huge. Anyone who has seen the smaller owls in life will have a good idea of the proportion! The funny thing is, when I was cutting out the fabric I thought "This isn't going to be as big as I want it" (haha). He is lovely though I if I do say so myself and I'm agonising over the decision to sell him or not. I'll take him along to the market in Mono on Sunday but mainly for show. I don't think anyone would re-home him. I'm off to make smaller versions of him now!

I've done stags, pandas that look a little like a horse and rabbits. Mebbe a lion or a giraffe next. Ill have a lion please. 9 January 2009 at 08:54. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
