Partner Member of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. Survivors Teaching Students: Saving Women’s Lives. Through the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance’s. STS) program, Ovarian Cancer 101 educates medical students about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. The goal of the STS program is to increase the number of healthcare providers who recognize ovarian cancer symptoms and refer women suspected of ovarian cancer to gynecologic oncologists to diagnose and treat the disease in its earliest stages.

There ARE symptoms, unfortunately they may be so subtle that they are attributed to other benign conditions. Correct diagnoses occur only slightly more often than incorrect diagnoses.
