John Pierro: Back to Pen & Ink
http://pierrostudios.blogspot.com/2011/11/back-to-pen-ink.html
Computer animation and other Projects. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Back to Pen and Ink. The plan is to draw and post, draw and post, draw and post; so much that anyone paying attention may become bored. I apologize in advance. Wow, these are really gorgeous babe! Very rhythmic, geometric, fluid and strong. Love, love, love them. I cant wait to see more! November 1, 2011 at 3:05 PM. It's easy ;). I really like it :). December 1, 2012 at 7:34 PM. John Pierro: July 2011
http://pierrostudios.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Computer animation and other Projects. Monday, July 11, 2011. Etching plate proofs - 11/10/11. Sunday, July 3, 2011. Ok, here's a fun test I did with Timmy's skeleton that I rigged up yesterday. It started off with some sketches to figure out Timmy's anatomy a bit. Then came the model, truth be told, I used a really bad base skeleton model from work and tweaked it out. Then for some reason I decided to rig it saying that it would be cool to animate it. Can you say compulsive? Friday, July 1, 2011.

John Pierro: Thanksgiving break Drawings
http://pierrostudios.blogspot.com/2012/11/thanksgiving-break-drawings.html
Computer animation and other Projects. Sunday, November 25, 2012. 2 more for the pile, would be nice to start doing some large paintings like this, and getting back to some sculptures in this realm. You have a rare talent! Very few people can abstract the human figure so much and yet have them still read as figures! I am amazed at how you do this. It does hurt my mind a bit trying to mak sense of them. December 18, 2012 at 12:19 AM. These are so cool, I miss seeing such abstract but skilled work! Success...

My most invested body of work to date. The year I am giving to myself, to my art, to the world. In reaction to the events of 911 I have created this series of twelve ceramic sculptures. Six sets of two reflecting the towers. The idea was my imagining of what a core from ground zero would be made of? I imagine some day putting it all together. Richard Art. Akers.
