Thursday, August 7, 2014. When Levi finished his FTO (field training) and went to his solid 4 days on/3 days off schedule, he decided it was time to really start a house project. I'm thinking Great! Sunday, March 30, 2014. One of the biggest changes in our lives is our new HOUSE! We managed to get everything in order and sign on it in just three weeks. Our loan officer and realtor were incredible. There are several things on our Project List (like replacing the BLUE carpet), but for now we are thrilled to have the problem of too much space instead of not enough. ;). This was taken the first time we looked at the house, and I'm glad to say the grass is already MUCH greener. Woot! Making a House a Home.

Sunday, October 7, 2012. When we bought our entertainment center almost 2 years ago, I told Levi I'd only get it if he promised we could paint it black. So this month, I decided it was time to finally revamp it. Cami has done lots of projects with spray paint and so she held my hand and helped me, layer by layer and can by can. And so, we started out with a plain veneer entertainment center from Shopko. After 5 cans of gray Valspar Perfect Finish Primer. And FOURTEEN cans of Rust-Oleum Black Lacquer.

Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Crockpot Freezer Meals = SUCCESS! Last Saturday, Mom and Morgan came down and helped me prepare a bunch of freezer meals - and it was awesome. If we hadn't kept stopping to chat, and stopped for lunch, we would have been done in less than two hours guaranteed. Two hours. Of work and now I have 10 meals that I can pull out whenever I need to, throw one in the crockpot on my way out the door, and it will be ready when I get home from work. I'm stoked. Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Holy cow this summer has been crazy! August is birthday month in our family - Zane's is Aug 11th and Morgan's is Aug 22nd. Thankfully, they're really good sports about celebrating their birthdays together every year. (I'm sure it helps that we have about 4 birthday parties for them total throughout the month.). Then this weekend, we celebrated some more! Levi and I drove up to Mom and Dad's on Saturday to go swimming at Jefferson Lake. Mom asked him what he wanted. "Mmmm....

Saturday, September 21, 2013. Adventures (& near drowning) at Lagoon. A couple weeks ago, Levi and I drove down to Lagoon Amusement Park in Farmington, UT to spend the day. As we left, I threw a few towels in the car, just in case we decided to do the Lagoon-A-Beach water park in the afternoon. By about 5:00 pm, we were exhausted but still having fun. Saturday, January 12, 2013. Our friends all decided we should get together for a Halloween party this year, and it ended up being at our house. No biggie, until Levi said, "We're having a Halloween party! You can't have a party without decorations! And so. we decorated! I'm figuring out that all it takes to have a successful party is food and access to YouTube. The boys were entertained for hours. And then Thanksgiving was here! My uncle and his family flew to Oregon from Georgia, and so we all Skyped!
