Richard E. Miller Biography
Richard E. Miller was one of the Giverny Group of American Impressionists. Together with FrederickFrieseke, Guy Rose and Karl Beuhr, he became known in France and the United States for his colorful form of decorative Impressionism. Born in St. Louis and educated in the ateliers of Paris, Miller was an American expatriate who lived in the little art colony in Giverny, west of Paris, where Claude Monet resided. This educational site covers his life and work, with an archive section coming soon.
