Green's Clues: November 2006
http://greensclues.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
I don't have a clue. Give me some. Sunday, November 19, 2006. A star is born this weekend - Western masculinity is back. Reports are already filtering in from Hollywood of the apparent suicides of Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Ashton Kutcher, Adrian Brody, Heath Ledger, and Tobey Maguire, all distraught at the destruction of their fanbases by the arrival of Daniel Craig as James Bond. And don't be surprised if a lot of big actors in Hollywood aren't working past next year. Links to this post. I just thi...

Green's Clues: July 2006
http://greensclues.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
I don't have a clue. Give me some. Saturday, July 29, 2006. Chamberlain and Churchill, or, How About A Real President For A Change? I always thought the "Bush is Churchillian" comparisons were really overwrought and strained. If, in a hundred years, his way proves to be right, I will, scout's honour, be first to say, "Thank god he won that one for us," but he still won't be Churchill. I'm getting nervous, though, that he's actually Chamberlain. Is the world better if Saddam Hussein is dead? But it would ...

Green's Clues: October 2006
http://greensclues.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
I don't have a clue. Give me some. Sunday, October 29, 2006. Celebrating our defeat of an art forgery ring in Tehran with champagne and licorice, Rival and yours truly are suddenly captured by followers of radical extremist cleric Arshad Misbahi. And sentenced to death by stoning next Wednesday. Hastily, I call up my ultra-leftist NDP supporter, Walworf. Walworf, it's Bo! Rival and I are in hot water with repressive homophobic religious nuts and we need rescuing! Boss Harp and his minions again? Walworf,...

White Ribbon Campaign: A Tribute to Jack Layton
http://ourfuturehasnoviolenceagainstwomen.blogspot.com/2011/08/tribute-to-jack-layton.html
Monday, August 22, 2011. A Tribute to Jack Layton. The entire White Ribbon Campaign (WRC) family is shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Jack Layton today. He died peacefully with his family by his side. We extend our deepest condolences to Olivia, Mike and Sarah and his entire great, big family. I have talked to many men who never otherwise would have understood the positive role they could play in working to end violence against women, if it weren’t for Jack. Handing out ribbons in ...From th...

White Ribbon Campaign: So Much to Get Pumped About!
http://ourfuturehasnoviolenceagainstwomen.blogspot.com/2011/08/so-much-to-get-pumped-about.html
Friday, August 19, 2011. So Much to Get Pumped About! With only 42 days left until the 2011 Walk A Mile In Her Shoes event in Toronto, were starting to field a lot of questions about the event. One of the most common questions we get as the organizers of Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is, "Where do I go to find shoes to fit me? Labels: Walk A Mile In Her Shoes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Green's Clues: September 2006
http://greensclues.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
I don't have a clue. Give me some. Saturday, September 30, 2006. Ask not what feminism can do for you, but rather what you. Can do for feminism. I guess my "Five Things Feminism Has Done For Me" post didn't fit the bill for a couple "progressive" bloggers who wanted to see differently. I was asked about feminism. But I'm curious - what have these "progressives" done for feminism? And just to add on to them, strictly out of idle curiosity to see what they say, I'm also going to ask Zac-a-roni. I'll go fir...

Green's Clues: April 2007
http://greensclues.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
I don't have a clue. Give me some. Tuesday, April 10, 2007. The Clue on Faye Turney. Green's Clues own version of The View hosts roundtable discussions on popular topics of the day. This morning, the Faye Turney question is tackled by Wonder Woman, Dr. Beverly Crusher, Catwoman, and The Rawhide Kid. Controversial for appearing in Islamic garb and writing letters home which she now says were coerced, Faye Turney, sailor in the Royal Navy, held hostage in Iran, is our focus today on The Clue. Catwoman?

Green's Clues: August 2006

I don't have a clue. Give me some. Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Thank you, Japan automakers, for succeeding where we keep failing. Here is great news. By 2010, Japan will aim to mass produce two-seater electric vehicles capable of running about 80 kilometers (50 miles) per charge, as well as 30 percent more fuel-efficient hybrid vehicles. Of course, it's not a magic bullet - the electricity to drive these vehicles has to be clean, too. This is still a step in the right direction. Links to this post. GEORG...

Green's Clues: March 2007
http://greensclues.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
I don't have a clue. Give me some. Thursday, March 29, 2007. The modern woman's adventures in T.O. My professional neighbour Gallery drops by to help herself to some of the chocolate chip cookie dough I'm batching up while Walworf cuts his toenails at the kitchen table. I saw the biggest asshole on the subway today. Like, what kind of asshole doesn't come over and say hi? We were totally into each other, I would have given him my card - we could have been having coffee tomorrow or this weekend. Thursday,...

The product of a secret genetic program at the University of Calgary to produce an unrelenting conservative propaganda machine. Tuesday, July 10, 2007. Pope to Everyone Else: You're All Going to Hell. By the time you read this, you may already have stumbled over this newsflash - Heaven is simply out of reach for you sods. Nice, decent sods, but damned ones regardless. So says the Pope. Two, there's competition for souls down in South America. The competition is fierce, fast and spreading faster than ...
