One key factor to faster playing on any string instrument is a smooth, slow left hand. The slower the motion, the closer the fingers remain to the string, thus less motion and faster tempo. Smooth, fluid, legato, and controlled left hand. The key to obtaining this is a compact center of gravity, loose lower back and rib cage, and shoulder blades/shoulders.". Use our LINKS service.
