There are days that the only conversation I have before dinnertime is with the cashier at the store. And a lot of the time you feel like you will be forever in this phase of diapers, naps, and never getting more than 10 minutes to accomplish that task. It's empowering to see other moms do their thing. I read a quote I really like the other day;.

He is starting to get a little more naughty and test the boundaries more. He is also learning a ton! I love his little voice. He is trying to say more words and learning new ones almost every day. He knows how to start his own prayer now and he knows at the end when to say 'Jesus' and says it without prompt. Tuesday, May 27, 2014. My babies ruin my tan.

We could be having the best time and then all the sudden everything crashes and the day takes a u-turn. Sometimes it's more gradual but usually it's just like BAM and rattles my world. So I sat and bounced her on the side of the street until she calmed down enough for me to push her. Eventually she fell asleep and stayed asleep until we got back home.

We've learned a few tricks and she is getting better, she'll still have a crying episode every so often, but it's getting better each day. Monday, December 27, 2010. Christmas and 9 months. Loving his new chair. So happy for his present from Santa. Riding his new walk'n'ride. He loves it. We also took him to the doctor this month for his 9 month wellness check up. Here are his stats. Height: 25 inches (.16 percentile on the growth charts) His doctor isn't worried about his height, he said someone has to be the last kid on the charts and it's probably going to be Cade. Weight: 19 pounds(23rd percentile). He figured out how to open the door.

Josh is napping, Gabe is home from playing at the neighbors, and I'm about to read this weeks "US Weekly" that comes every Friday in the mail. Gabe looks up at me and says "What is that smell? I don't smell anything, but he then says "It smells like a ZOO in here! Normally, I'd be worried about this kind of remark, but all I could do is laugh! Cream Biscuits and Honey Butter. 1 3/4 cups sifted all purpose flour. 1 Tb baking powder. 6 Tb chilled unsalted butter, cut into small cubes. 3/4 cup chilled heavy whipping cream. 1/2 cup butter or margarine. Whip softened butter or margarine. Add vanilla and egg yolk. Add honey gradually while whipping. Oh my, oh my these are so good! I could eat the Honey Butter alone with a spoon!
