October 21, 1997 Sept 2, 2010. Remembering "Sassy Girl" Forever. Jesse was a happy dog. My son called her a Dr Seuss dog, as she galloped past us, head turning to look at us with a big happy grin and ears flopping. I was always sorry I couldn’t get a picture of what I called her Donovan Bailey look do you remember the video clip of him winning the Olympic gold, running by at the end of the race, grinning at the camera? That’s how she looked. I think of her every day. March 28, 1998 August 30, 2011. On th...

Pet Tributes | Wabi-Sabi Dogs
http://www.wabisabidogs.com/memory-books
Remember Your Beloved Pets. Jesse and Bougie are gone now but will be long remembered in their own books. The tributes include memories and stories from all who loved our remarkable animals. I interview the families with the right questions and weave the answers into memorable tales of the animals' intelligence, sweetness, fun personalities, and much more. Of course, pictures are a large part of remembering and they'll be interspersed throughout. I'm working on a guide to help you write your own tributes.

Electromagnetic Light Therapy | Wabi-Sabi Dogs
http://www.wabisabidogs.com/light-therapy
I first heard about light therapy. When I started talking with Dan Sumerel at an Egyptian Arabian horse event in Kentucky. His enthusiasm was contagious and that’s how I got started. I quickly realized the benefits could be more far reaching than just for the horses. Jesse had had cruciate ligament surgery when she was two years old. I used the lights on the area daily and remember the vet being surprised at how fast she’d healed. I’d not told him I was using light therapy figured he’d pooh-pooh it.).

About (jane at jbcopy.com) | Wabi-Sabi Dogs
http://www.wabisabidogs.com/about
About (jane at jbcopy.com). Dogs Rule. And I’m Staff. Kidding. I’d be the first to say you have to be in charge. Dogs need a leader and will accept the post if you abdicate. Not a good idea. However, I still do the work, of course. It’s more noticeable as they age. And I’m really torn between encouraging people to adopt an older dog and being up front about the difficulties of looking after the really old ones with their health challenges. Nicholas collapsed on New Year's Eve, 2011. and we've been nu...
