Sunday, August 2, 2015. July 26, 2015. We had another nice weekend at the cabin. Randy and Sandra joined us on Thursday evening and Amy and Vince came up on Friday evening. The storms cleared, and we finally made it back into town after a very long and muddy day of mountain biking. We went back to the cabin to check on the tree, Amy and Vince arrived, and we had dinner at the Western Bar. We reluctantly went to Big Daddy's for an ok dinner. One last look at the large pine tree going thru the back deck.

Wednesday, October 22, 2014. October 20, 2014. It was probably the most beautiful and enjoyable weekend for scenery and mountain biking yet. Amy had work and school obligations, but Vince was available for another great weekend of mountain biking. We arrived Friday night and made our now regular trip to the Western Bar for the usual: green chile cheeseburgers, onion rings, Moose Drools and coconut cream pie. Sunday, April 26, 2015. April 19, 2015. We made another trip to the cabin from Thursday evening through Sunday and were joined by Rick's sister and brother-in-law Renea and Dawson on Friday evening. This road is very steep but doesn't look it in the picture. Good place for a rest after a long climb with both riding and pushing the bike up the mountain. Friday, July 10, 2015. July 5, 2015. A herd of wild mustangs which crossed our path during the Friday MTB ride on James Ridge. We had a nice holiday weekend at the cabin with Amy and Vince and Bobby and Donna. We all arrived around 7:30 pm MST on Thursday evening, unloaded the cars and headed to The Western Bar. It was crowded in the bar area for trivia night, so we had to eat in the restaurant area. We headed back to Lubbock around 5pm. Group pic (minus Donna) on Friday. Headed back toward Cloudcroft.

Monday, April 28, 2014. April 27, 2014. We made major progress on the deck and bedroom remodels. The support structure of the deck has now been rebuilt and reinforced. There is still work to be done on it, but we're hoping to have it mostly finished next trip.
