Our first stop was at Ancon Hill, where at 600' we had a sweeping view of Panama City, the Pacific Ocean, the Panama Canal, and old town. David then drove us to Cherie and Bill's 23rd floor condo. They have the entire floor! Road up to Ancon Hill, highest point in Panama City. This will be a new roadway bypassing a barrio.

Friday, July 19, 2013. Panama 2013—back at Las Lajas Resort. We cut our stay in Boquete two days short, because clearly there wasn't enough to do after spending two days driving all around the mountains and walking the roads up out of town. Since we aren't rock climbers or extreme hikers we decided to come back to Las Lajas Resort where we could walk the beach, frolic in the Pacific and the pool, and eat and drink to our heart's content. Ya, and then we followed all of this exhausting National Geographic.
