May 06, 2009. But what happens when the structure is loosened up? Have you ever transplanted a plant from a smaller to a larger pot, or into the ground? http://chronicleofayoungteacher.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Teacher, I Don't Get It. Friday, June 24, 2011. Random Thoughts and Apologies. I leave tomorrow, for a week. Don't expect to hear from me for a week. Not that you would, I guess I have been quiet lately. I get like that. Either metal will crush me or I will escape under it." I thought that maybe this was it, and then I thought, "Well, I will see what happens next." I wasn't afraid, but I wasn't sure either. Would God be waiting for me? Perhaps Hell or maybe nothing? Teacher, I Don't Get It: May 2011
http://chronicleofayoungteacher.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Teacher, I Don't Get It. Thursday, May 26, 2011. It was the last day of school for students today. There are some that I will miss, but it has been a long year in some ways. Let me just preface this with the fact that I got a lot of lovely notes, cards, and heart felt thank-yous on the last day of school, but I got my first ever "unthankyou." There is really no other way to describe what transpired. I just called to say that basically this school year sucked! Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Would You Believe It.

Teacher, I Don't Get It. Sunday, September 18, 2011. Will you come in and help me? I really don't know what to say.". The words felt unnatural coming out of my mouth because I don't really ask for help at work or in life. However, I really wanted to be absolved of all responsibility to discuss the death of this parent with a room full of eight and nine year olds. I really don't know what to say? Teacher, I Don't Get It. Sunday, January 30, 2011. To teach or not to teach, that is the question. I haven't even had the option of teaching summer school the past two summers because I have been in school myself finishing my Master of Ed. I could really use the money, but I really really don't want to do it. Saturday, January 29, 2011. I am getting the cold that everyone else already has. I tell you this in so you won't expect anything insightful or coherent out of this post. It's going to be more l...

Take It To The Limit. A Math Teacher's Journal. Laquo; #mtbosChallenge – Sunday Summary. MTBoS Challenge: Classroom Photo. Automaticity in Music and Math. August 31, 2014. From a recent post. I completely agree (although I come at it from a flute standpoint rather than a piano). There aren’t many things in life more boring than practicing scales and arpeggios, unless it’s sitting beside a tuner and practicing getting every note in tune. The payoff is when you see something like this:. All of which gets m...
