Friday, April 15, 2011. Our basement is really cold, so while I'm working on homework (sometimes hours at a time) I turn on the space heater. One of Ziggy's favorite things to do is to lay by the heater. There are times when he is literally pressed against it. I have to move him away a lot of the time because his fur gets so hot I'm afraid he'll catch on fire. I don't want that kind of a hotdog! Monday, April 11, 2011. Before the trip, Paula assigned each couple to come up with an activity to do during one day while we were there. Nick and Sadie brought everything needed to play "minute to win it"; it had us completely cracking up! The boys got a little carried away with the wigs afterward. Tuesday, December 28, 2010. I woke up around 8:00 Christmas morning to let Ziggy out and couldn't go back to sleep! I made Michael get up and made some hot chocolate for the both of us before heading in to unwrap our presents. {We kind of did our Christmas early this year, or so I thought until I opened my presents. Friday, March 25, 2011. A Touch of Spring. The other day I noticed our bush sprouting some buds. The next day they were blooming and beautiful. Oh, how I long for spring. It cannot come soon enough this year. Monday, March 21, 2011. Our family gathered together at my parents home for Lucy's blessing on March 19th. Lucy Jameson Ridd was blessed by her grandfather, James. My cute cousin Becki and her adorable little baby, Addy. It was so nice of her to be a support on this special day, especially coming.

Thursday, December 29, 2011. Beaver Creek Tri / Moab. Beaver Creek, Colorado is my favorite place to visit during the summer for one of Michael's many races. It has the feel of Park City; quaint and refreshing. We got a steal on a room at one of the nicest resorts in town. I felt like we were living in luxury. :). This is the view from our room. Friday, March 7, 2014. With all the snow we have been getting lately, we headed over to the school to go sledding on some great hills. They have several and each one offers something fun. The boys had a blast. I even took a few turns! It brought back many memories of spending ALL DAY outside sledding with family and friends when I was a kid. Some good memories were made! Here are two videos from our day. This is Anthony going backwards. I had no idea such a hill existed! Well have to go with you next time.
