Monday, 26 September 2011. Cwmcarn Ride New Vid! Wow talk about wet. Went for a solo ride today, was belting it down from the second I got there. I was soaked before I'd even set off! Slippy conditions but still a load of fun. Managed a few technical climb sections I've never completed fully before which was a real boost! Sunday, 18 September 2011. A Wet Day at Whinlatter! An early start on Saturday greeted my and my Bro with very wet weather and a horrible outlook. It rained all the way to the trail centre, but it didn't dampen our spirits! Once we got there we did a quick setup and bolt check before we set off. The 1st climbs on the North route were slippy but relatively gentle climbs, kept in the granny ring and slowly powered to the top. Again the climb was a slow grind, but once at the top the views were excellent!

Tuesday, 8 December 2009. A week ago I was treated to a guided tour of Gisburn Forest by one of the trail builders (StumpyJon from Bikeradar). It was bloody brilliant! The trails were a mix of everything - technical climbing, technical decent, swoopy bits, rocky bits, muddy bits. I don't think it was lacking at all! I was left with a huge grin! Monday, 8 February 2010. So, time for an update! The P7 build is going well. and it looks like its going to be a cracking little trail bike! Not going silly on the spec, keeping it reasonable and suitable for the frame. Rev forks are a perfect match in colour so I'm really please about that! The XT crankset looks top notch too! Wednesday, 16 September 2009. Well the plan for the new ride is just getting started. I have the frame, forks, headset and all the tools but now I need the parts! The idea is to go back to basics with the Scandal but with a modern twist. It's going to have a 29" wheelset along with rigid carbon fibre forks and singlespeed gearing.
