Saturday, October 8, 2016. RAID is an annual ride/race across the State of Iowa. The route chosen for RAID 2016 is about 300 miles in length, along Hwy 92, from Council Bluffs to Muscatine. In response to public interest, we have also created two RAID Half rides, about 150 miles each, for those wanting to participate in RAID but not yet ready to tackle the full 300 miles. Saturday, October 3, 2015. Do you have what it takes? RAID 2015 is a 335 mile, one-day, bike ride/race across Iowa that starts in Sioux City and ends in Dubuque. In order to complete the race in the allotted time, riders must maintain an average speed of 16 mph. For those not quite ready to tackle the full 335 miles, there’s also the RAID Half. Riders can choose to ride the 167 miles from Sioux City to Webster City, or from Webster City to Dubuque. For more details. Registration closes on September 19.
