After surviving the Slickrock trail, we loaded up the car, hit 4 different bike shops in town, and headed to Arches National Park. I think this is just about the only way to deal with such a tragedy-turn it into something proactive; much the same as the MADD concept. I am surprised every single time by the mud here in Kansas City; there's nothing anywhere close to this in Florida-it's like glue, dirt, and diarrhea mixed together.
