We drove through Antique Alley and Alyssa spotted the flower “sculpture” and wanted to go “play on those things”. I tried to explain to her it wasn’t a playground, but finally had to stop the truck and show her. She was still fascinated by it. What surprised me the most was her smiles. For the last year or so, Alyssa has pretty much refused to smile for the camera. Just look back at the photos in this blog! But she was in a silly mood this time and was being a real ham! Alyssa’s 5th Birthday Party. Alyssa’s party was this past Saturday as Williams Farm (aka Williams Carriage). She and her friends had a great time… and so did we. This has been my favorite party so far! The Williams are some of nicest people you’ll ever meet. They genuinely enjoy putting smiles on kids’ faces. Horses – of all sizes! I had the day off this past Friday and had the opportunity to take Alyssa to see her current favorite things… horses. This girl loves everything to do with horses. The miniature horse show was going to be at the Ike Saturday and somehow The Nonnie worked it out so we could see the horses the day before. Alyssa loved it!
