Wednesday, October 31, 2012. After such a horrendous storm, we were pleasantly surprised that it was a mild night to go Trick or Treating. Despite Kiernan falling 5 times(without harm) within 20 feet of our home and Gabbie falling at the end of the street, ripping her stockings and then walking around with minor bloody wounds(Mommy ran home for bandaids), it was a great night! Oh, The Places We'll Go! Wednesday, September 5, 2012. A long, LONNNG, time ago we went to the strawberry patch. The boys absolutely loved it, so much that we went once a week for three weeks straight. I must say, I really couldn't complain either. I love the fresh, warm strawberries. Jeff has suffered from Type 1(Juvenile) Diabetes for over 18 years now. Since knowing him, I have had a crash course on how to help him stay on top of it, but every day can be a struggle. I really can't explain the difficulties in words. You truly have to be in it's presence to realize the devastation it causes. That's why this cause is so near and dear to our hearts. We participate in a JDRF Walk for a Cure each year to help support the cause and spread awareness of this sad disease. Check out.

As Jeff was wrestling with Kiernan next to me, Jeff threw him over and Kiernan fell on me. Kiernan: (in a stressed tone) Daddy, you NEARLY threw me on Mommy and I hurt her! Kiernan: Mommy are you ok?

Sunday, March 17, 2013. Yesterday we went to our school's Fun Fair. We all had a blast, although I think the parents were more tuckered out by the kids afterward. She took a trip to the "Sporty Spa.". Of course a fair is not complete without face painting. And tons of games! Saturday, March 16, 2013. Haynie Herald's Week in Review. Kiernan showed his strength as he declared war on baby proofing. Gabbie has a cute new cut just in time for Disney World. Gracie finally stayed still for more than 2 minutes.

Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Within the past year Gabbie has really taken to ice skating. She LOVES it and is already up to Basic 3 class where they are learning spins, gliding on one foot, and slalom drills. She looks pretty professional with her ice skating outfit. Thanks Grandmom! Sunday, January 26, 2014. Jeff has been hired as an assistant principal at an elementary school in Fairfax. We are so excited for him. He worked so hard to get here and will be an amazing administrator! He Said, She Said.
