Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Short update on Riley. Been forever since we posted anything on the blog so I thought I would put a little update on here. Over the past year Riley has been doing very well. She had a very good year at school and is ready for her summer break. She is going to the cardiologist every few months and we hope to get that down to every 6 months soon. Friday, April 23, 2010. We went to check in with her cardiologist yesterday and all is well! Monday, April 12, 2010. The x-ray was pretty!

Sunday, March 28, 2010. I know I haven't posted much, but there is nothing new to post about! Troy has to head home tomorrow to go back to work so it will be just me and Riley hanging out here. She should be good and sick of me by the end of the week! Yes, that means I am assuming we will still be here at the end of the week- Thursday will be 3 weeks post surgery! Thursday, March 25, 2010. The chest tubes are still draining and draining! Maybe they will be Riley's good luck charm! Tuesday, March 23, 2010.

Thursday, November 30, 2006. Riley had her surgery today at 8:30 am and finished successfully at 2:00 pm While the doctor did make a minor change to the procedure, due to her left pulmonary. Thursday, March 29, 2007. She is starting to eat more at one time so we can now feed her 4 ounces every 2 1/2 hours.It's so nice to have time to play now and not just eat. Overall, everything went great and we do not have to go back for at least three months, the longest we have ever had between appointments. Also, our little Riley had an article written about her in a local newspaper, The Huron County Press. We, of course, had to buy a few copies so if you get a chance, check it out!

Saturday, December 9, 2006. I would like to thank everyone for all of the help and the cards. It is nice to know that people were thinking of her while she was going through this. I will try and keep her progress updated over the next couple of weeks as she improves and will add some pictures. Thursday, January 28, 2010. The Time Has Come. It's been a while but the time has come for another surgery. Riley is now four years old and doing great! She has been taking dance class and has even started preschool this year. The biggest thing since the last update (two years ago) is that she finally eats just like everyone else. Who would have thought that day would ever get here! It has been a long haul to get to this point with her but completely worth it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Time Has Come.
