In July, we headed out to Eagle Lake, California to camp for a week with Rick's family to celebrate his dad's 70th birthday. Here are a few snippets of our adventures:. Camping for a week lends itself to inconsistant naptimes and places for babies. This baby fell asleep on the raft about 20 yards out into the lake. Monday, April 14, 2014. We took an awesome trip this year for spring break. It started with renting a vehicle we could all fit in! Brief stop at the salt flats. Ridiculous hotel stays.2 rooms a night. Visiting the majestic Red Woods. Lots of stops in parks for lunches. Seeing and touching the ocean for the first time. Stop for cheese samples at Tillamook. It has been too long since I have written and now the leaves are winding down on their color and intensity. I think I will include a little picture of our "Luxury Lounge" under the stairs at the Visitor's Center. It is a laugh a minute. The women usually gather there because we are not supposed to all be out in the foyer at the same time. This space is supposed to be for up to seven couples when they are not on tour.
