This is how the car looked when I bought it. A Car Restoration Project. It was constructed by students at Benson Polytechnic High School in Portland, Oregon in 1964-65, supervised by Jim Hurd. It was raced by Cal Watson with the Cascade Sports Car Club 1965 (? Listed in their documents as "DKW Special.". The car used a DKW 3 cylinder, 2 cycle engine mounted ahead of the rear axle; DKW Junior 4-speed ZF transaxle and inboard brakes; tube space frame; and fiberglass body. The car as raced.
