Ringing the Bells

Monday, June 29, 2015. I just looked up and school was out and June was almost over! Life is just passing us by isn't it? Time flies when you are having fun. Carter had a patriotic program at the Veteran's home the last week of school, and it was just beyond precious. Those sweet men loved it, and I cried! I am not a crier! Just so sweet. Probably my favorite performance/school activity yet. Then Coop had his TOT performance. Go, Coop! Pumped about that trophy. Last day of school water war! He ate it up!

Ringing the Bells: March 2015

http://ringingthebells1.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

Friday, March 13, 2015. Not so Springy Spring Break. I has rained and rained and rained here in Oxford. Crazy how much really. But thankfully we have had a fantastic spring break nonetheless! The week before Spring Break, Evan Engram came and read to Coop's class. So fun to live in a small University town. #perks. My babysitter, Katie, and Emerson have gotten to be such huge buds. Katie sends me all sorts of fun pics. Thankful for my sweet sitters. Could not make it without them! Turner time never ceases!

Ringing the Bells: July 2014

http://ringingthebells1.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

Sunday, July 20, 2014. Girls' weekend, the 4th, and the beach. So much has happened in the past three weeks! To start, my sweet Hub kept the kids so I could go visit Nancy in Auburn for the weekend. Talk about major brownie points. But before I left, he took me to the Ravine for a giant steak. Love him, and so thankful he loves for me to go and be with my friends. THEN I got to walk in the door to these two rascals! Aren't they the cutest? And here we are! Do you think they needed a hair cut? This was ta...

I have hardly had time to shower much less eat or clean my house. Phew. Too much fun to be had I guess. Thankful for a great school year and hopefully a fun, relaxing summer ahead. Ringing the Bells: Summer is upon us!

http://ringingthebells1.blogspot.com/2015/05/summer-is-upon-us.html

Saturday, May 16, 2015. Summer is upon us! Only four more days of school left! I am so over that 6:15 alarm. I mean OVER it. This has been a fantastic year for both my boys in school, so in some ways I'm sad it's over, but we are all tired and ready for lazy summer mornings and fun afternoons at the pool. My crew loves going to Square Books Junior. We spend way too much money there, but books are forever right? That's how I justify. Hahaha! Easier that way. :). I am obsessed with this little dude. Pu...

Life in Spandex and Spit Up: A week in pictures

http://lifeinspandexandspitup.blogspot.com/2014/06/a-week-in-pictures.html

We are trying not to miss the hilarious moments in the mundane of life. A bag salesman, an unexpected and clueless stay at home mom, and a new kiddo who is completely aloof as to how little his parents know. We've skipped an education fund and are saving all extra cash for future counseling. We wouldn't have it any other way! Monday, June 16, 2014. A week in pictures. My little Goose turned 6 months this week. Half! It's officially porch season at Grandpas and Nana's house. Quick snack from Nana. And fin...

Sunday, October 27, 2013. End of Summer and School! I finally found the time to put up our end of the summer/school pictures. Now that we are well into the school routine and all the leaves have turned and fallen, these seem like a distant memory now! Here we are hiking Mt. Philo on a gorgeous day. The kids got bikes for their birthdays and learned how to ride them on our town's high school track. Taylor just took off without training wheels. she was so excited! Taylor was so excited about going to schoo...

The Davenport Family: Postop Day 3

http://kellyandbrett.blogspot.com/2014/06/postop-day-3.html

Saturday, June 14, 2014. We keep seeing steady improvement in Hudson's status, and our peace continues to be beyond ourselves. He is almost completely off of sedation, yet still seems quite comfortable (as Jesus's swaddle should be! Matthew 19:14-15 but Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." And he laid his hands on them. Friday, July 11, 2014. From Burlington to Nashville. Events from the past 2 weeks. 1) that Hudson would continue to be stable, that his recovery would be without any events, and that this would be the final surgery for him to have a functional heart. 2) that Taylor and Will would continue to understand why we have to be separated right now, and that God would give them patience and strength. Thank you for prayers and support! We love you all, and will continue to keep you posted. Mary Rosenbaum Photo Blog.

The Davenport Family: November 2012

http://kellyandbrett.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 26, 2012. We had a nice, quiet Thanksgiving this year. My Aunt Brooke and Uncle Barry invited us over for dinner, which was a lot of fun. They have such a beautiful backyard, so I always force everyone outside for a quick picture when we're there. I love this sweet moment. they really do love each other (most of the time)! The kids had a ball decorating for Christmas. they did a good job putting the ornaments on themselves. Only 1 broken ornament total! Wednesday, November 7, 2012.
