Life in the Shop: Bird Sanctuary…
http://lifeintheshop.blogspot.com/2011/07/bird-sanctuary.html
Thursday, July 28, 2011. No, it’s just my house and I love it. It’s just another day of National Geographic at our humble abode. Lots of animals including squirrels (and you know me and my Bob,) deer, lizards, birds… Yes there are a lot of birds and after this spring there are even more flying around thanks to what we have lovingly dubbed the maternity ward. And last but not least, the Blue Birds. And yes, that is my mailbox! Labels: Casa de la Rinse. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Life in the Shop: January 2009
http://lifeintheshop.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 2, 2009. Did you work out today? On a rambling personal note. I think everyone who made the resolution to go to the gym went today. At least those who are members at my gym. Ok, confession, I have been to the gym once since October. Now that's certainly not to say that I haven't been getting my exercise. Schlepping my soap around to the 8.9 million shows; setting it up; tearing it down; standing there to sell it and making it all had to burn a few calories, wouldn't you think?

"History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it" ~Winston Churchill: December 2008

History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it" Winston Churchill. Monday, December 22, 2008. What DOES happen when you pick the legs off the frog? When I was in elementary school there was a way we could walk home that took us behind the community center in Navy Housing and over a little creek. There were several days that we would get to the bridge that went over the creek and find frog bodies without legs and then tossed off to the side were a bunch of frog legs. This devastated me! That's what ...

"History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it" ~Winston Churchill: January 2010

History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it" Winston Churchill. Saturday, January 23, 2010. We have a company wide BLOG where I work and this week's topic was helping Haiti. Please understand.I am all for helping people, but I do have a few of my own opinions. This is the response I gave to the initial post this week. I am so amazed at how quickly people came together and formed groups to collect money, resources, and anything else that could possibly help the people of Haiti. Also, while I appr...

"History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it" ~Winston Churchill: Another fruity story...

History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it" Winston Churchill. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. By now you probably realize that I like to take pictures of odd things including apple cores, a tomato, and now my latest is a banana. This lonesome banana was in the parking lot at Cumberland Mall near the mall entrance next to Fresh 2 Order. First, how do you not realize you lost your banana? I'm just sayin'. Second, why do people (me included) just pass it by rather than put it in the trash?

Life in the Shop: August 2010
http://lifeintheshop.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 30, 2010. I first introduced you to our visitor a few weeks ago here. Since we found out her name was Snowball we also found out that she can do backflips (just been told, never witnessed it), is litter box trained and that her name isn’t Snowball. It is actually Crystal or Hippity Hop. We have also not confirmed that she can be relocated. I never trust the info given by fathers! Labels: Casa de la Rinse. Saturday, August 28, 2010. Smurfs could be living here. Labels: Casa de la Rinse.
