What to Bring Fishing. You will need to bring a few things with you on your trip. It can be fairly cold first thing in the morning, then warm later in the day. Be sure to wear layers of clothing so you can remove items as you warm up. What You Need to Bring:. Fishing License and required tags. Large Ice Chest for Your Catch (this will stay in your car).
