dispatches from my brain...: March 2005
http://rironin.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Dispatches from my brain. March 26, 2005. Temporarily Out Of Literature. I just realized that I've got nothing lying about to read, which is a problem, since my job tutoring people in Physics (which takes place at 11 am on weekdays, which means no one comes in and I just sit there doing nothing) leaves me with lots of free time. I just finished the complete and unabridged Hitch-hiker's Guide To The Galaxy. So - does anyone have any good books they're reading right now? James needs a recommendation.

http://rironin.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Dispatches from my brain. November 02, 2005. Tales of a Weekend Warrior. Yo This will soon be replaced by a real post detailing two insane weekends I've had not too long ago. The first took place at the end of September, and includes adventures at a party at URI, a visit to the Connecticut Renaissance Faire with Brian, Ashley, Jo and Vicky, Brian and Ashley's going away party, and. Partying at Jo's apartment in swingin' Boston. Pics of both weekends are up now at the photoblog. Posted by James at 11:50 PM.

dispatches from my brain...: Arthur Part 3: Bonding
http://rironin.blogspot.com/2007/05/arthur-part-3-bonding.html
Dispatches from my brain. May 15, 2007. Arthur Part 3: Bonding. Arthur is now going on six weeks! He's normalized his look. Somewhat, so no more freaky bug-out lazy eyes. I think his fur's getting softer too, rather than electrocuted. He's more receptive to petting than his brother and sister, and I think we're bonding well. He doesn't really like being picked up, but he enjoys climbing and perching. A lot His caretaker got him to look up and pose. It is safe to say that we are becoming good friends.

dispatches from my brain...: April 2006
http://rironin.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Dispatches from my brain. April 16, 2006. Been checking out potential apartments up in the Westford area so that I can move to better digs near where I work. Saw a great place in Nashua, NH, but it was a bit expensive and the traffic would likely be pretty bad from there. New Hampshire definitely speaks to me though - I drove around all over on a perfect Spring day, and climbed Mt. Monadnock. That is all, just a nano-update. Details on the housewarming party to follow. Posted by James at 11:28 PM.

dispatches from my brain...: Moosilauke in Spring
http://rironin.blogspot.com/2007/05/moosilauke-in-spring.html
Dispatches from my brain. May 15, 2007. I had the good fortune to meet up with Aaron for Cinco de Mayo, and after a very pleasant dinner with his friends, four of us set off early the next morning for Mount Moosilauke, which had proved far too snow covered for a hike just two weeks before. This time it was passable, though still formidable. The weather provided some fantastic views. And the ample snow made for a slushy challenge. Posted by James at 3:24 PM. Arthur: Now With Straight Eyes!

dispatches from my brain...: March 2006
http://rironin.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Dispatches from my brain. March 22, 2006. Yes, Yes, He's Alive. Okay, understanding the fact that no one reads this blog anymore (to anyone who's been here since December, I congratulate you for your stick-to-it-iveness, but seriously, you should've given up long ago), I am going to post anyway. That's the short story, folks. Everything is going quite well. I've been seeing my family and friends a lot and love them all. And having a job takes away a lot of the stress of not knowing how to pay...

dispatches from my brain...: The Once and Future Kitten
http://rironin.blogspot.com/2007/04/once-and-future-kitten.html
Dispatches from my brain. April 28, 2007. The Once and Future Kitten. I met my future cat today! His name is Arthur. So I could have a look at him. Arthur and his brother are still very skittish, whereas their sister (half-pictured in that previous shot) was more mature and explored a bit more. Apparently Arthur is the runt of the litter, and still a bit bashful, but hopefully with some help he can become mighty. I have no clue. All of these aspects combine to form what may be the goofiest looking cat.
