Rishii’s knowledge and dedication to Tabla is ever growing and impenetrable making him an. Inventive and perceptive musician. As a re...

Visualising birdsong – The Swithland Wood Recordings
https://representingbirdsong.wordpress.com/2014/09/27/visualising-birdsong
The Swithland Wood Recordings. A collaborative project to inspire music and visualise birdsong. September 27, 2014. The idea behind visualising bird vocalisations was to use these representations as a tool, to help identify bird species songs and calls. The visuals for the project really started to come together after the successful capture of field recordings of native birds, from Swithland Wood and the response from these recordings to produce music compositions by Rishii (tabla) and Roopa (sitar).
