Monday, September 23, 2013. Well, it's less than two weeks until we leave for New York and I am really feeling the pressure. I have butterflies, I'm not sleeping well and I have more things to do than I have time left! I'm sure there are some other bcny vendors who feel the same way I do. Never fear, things nearly always seem to work out for the best! Even if my grand plans end up being a little less grand! I need to be mindful and try and enjoy every minute of the build-up/countdown! And oh so rewarding!

Friday, April 11, 2014. Like it's been ages since I took some time out to take some photos just because. We received our sunny little Chuthings frock yesterday and so decided to go outside - into the 35' autumn heat - to take some photos of it. Lacey got to wear the new frock and poor Gentle was stuck in the very steamy bear suit! Her reasons weren't very convincing surprisingly and we ended up having to promise Gentle that she would get to wear the gorgeous new frock as soon as Lacey had had her turn.

Thursday, December 5, 2013. G♥Baby and Trio Collaboration. Well, after months and months of waiting, this amazing girl is on the bay, awaiting her fate. Daisy Buchanan was a labour of love for Gina and I. I had the most amazing experience working on her wardrobe and am very proud of how it turned out. I made a new pattern! Sunday, June 2, 2013. Another Photoshop Unit Down! Well I have just finished another online photoshopping unit with rmit and this was my final piece. I didn't enjoy this unit as much as the last one, and I'm glad it's over now! We learned a few techniques straight from a photoshopping book and dvd and then for our final assignment, we had to combine as many of the techniques as we could into one photographic image. Sunday, March 10, 2013. Well, I have been trying desperately to get my head around the being a vendor at BCNY and have not gotten there yet! How do you go about deciding what you are going to stock your little 3by3foot stall with? It's all very well to get excited and silly, but now I need to keep calm and carry on! Here are some more photos of the dress, which features a purple silk skirt and bodice, with pale aqua dotted tulle overlay, lightly sprinkled with pink petals, and three buttons with button loops at the back. It has a matching purple headband with a tiny sideways bow. This dress has been lovingly created by laurinda of Trio and is worth $150US.
