Saturday, August 29, 2009. We found a nice campground in Payson to get out of the Heat. Spent two weekends there. We went fishing the first weekend but didn't catch anything (too hot). The second weekend was rodeo weekend so we were able to take in the activities surrounding the rodeo including a farmers market, a parade and the rodeo itself. Fishing . . . Friday, January 08, 2010. As I opened my door last night and saw the porch light reflecting on the snow, it struck me that it looked like someone had dusted my front yard with diamond dust. So beautiful. So magical. The quiet of a snow covered world is so peaceful. Without winter were would we be? Without the freezing temperatures, many of our plants would not be able to flower. Saturday, November 07, 2009. It took me 3 years, but I finished it. The piecing was done by machine, the quilting by hand. I can see each mistake, but I'm happy with it. I already have ideas for two more where I am a little more creative. We'll see how long it takes me to start on those. Katherine (a.k.a. Katie) Corrigan. Sunday, September 20, 2009. Fishing in the Rain. Patrick is getting pretty good at casting. Video of Aaron fishing . . . We only caught one crawdad.
