Friday, February 25, 2011. I know this comes a tad late to report, but my whirlwind life just makes time fly! My baby, who was just born yesterday it seems, turned "Sweet 16" a few months ago. For months we planned an elaborate cotillion type party, when it occurred to me that a surprise party would be much more fun! Somehow, I even convinced her that we were blowing up the balloons early for her party the next week and the food was for a dinner party that night for the local Shriners.

Monday, February 1, 2010. Am I the bionic woman or what? It's a dream come true to a little girl who never missed an episode of The Bionic Woman or The Six Million Dollar Man! Which by the way would probably be the Eighteen Million Dollar Man in today's economy. See what I mean? Or, how about being able to simply LOOK at your child and know they have a fever or are about to barf? One of my favorites) I can even cross species and tell by simply looking at the dog or the cat that they are about to blow!

Sunday, December 27, 2009. Sunday morning early, and I just realized that somehow I have stayed up all night.again! Funny how time flies and the days just disappear the older I get. If I had planned to do this, say, for a really fun party or a job or childbirth or something important like that, I am sure I would have been fighting the heavy eyelids by 10:00 pm! I have heard people use the term "high energy" to describe Aussies, but that is just a polite way of describing insane, bouncing off the walls, high-jumping, running as fast as he can and stopping on a dime antics! Someone recently told me he appears to be very athletic. Athletic? That would imply some skills, wouldn't it? Let's hope that comes soon. Right now I would simply call him "loco dog", but I'll let you know as soon as he starts kicking a football around!
