And yet, there they were, the Jehovah's Witnesses, who thought that I might be receptive to their message. I said, "no thanks, have a nice day," and walked back into the house. The life of a peace corps volunteer in senegal. This is all you get. Training I put together was successful. Host father passed away suddenly (this was very difficult). Intense riots in my neighborhood (destroyed buildings, tire burnings, fires, tear gas, beatings, rock throwing, theft, car running over people). Staying busy with work and loving it. That's the gist of it. I promise that once I can comprehensibly order my thoughts on paper you all will get details. I miss and love you all.

Myself and two of my friends (another peace corps volunteer and a friend from New Zealand) decided to take a 2 week Christmas adventure in Mali.
