Travels on the Chemin de Saint-Jacques from Le Puy to the Pyrenees. Day 35 – Saint Palais to Larcevaux, 15.4 km. October 27, 2015. October 27, 2015. It was one of the warmest days on our Chemin – the penultimate day of walking for us before arriving in our destination, St Jean Pied de Port. Already in the early morning it felt different and soon enough the sun shone from the blue sky over the Basque Country. The scenery was so beautiful as we kept descending and rising up again.
