The question came up in part because this rare property is adjacent to the Sedgwick Reserve. Our ranch's perimeter is fully fenced so we don't get as many visitors as we might otherwise. Sunday, July 19, 2015. Engine 2 and Ladder 1 were dispatched to a reported fire on East Woodland Avenue in New Milford. Engine 2 arrived on scene and assisted the first due hose team. Ladder 1 preformed a secondary search throughout the house. The fire started in the basement while the homeowners weren't home. Numerous towns operated on scene due to the high temperature that day.
