Kamis, 20 November 2008. Monty Are I - Wall Of People (2006). Getting right down to it, the biggest problem with the Stolen Transmission debut from Monty Are I is the lack of new songs. That new-car smell applies to CDs too, and those who enjoyed the band’s 8-song debut, The Red Shift. Might not find Wall of People. As appealing as first-time listeners. Six of the eleven songs are taken from The Red Shift. Combats that stereotype to some success, although a few holes in their recorded performance remain.

While the whole metalcore scene doesn't exactly coincide with my usual musical preferences, I try to give everything a fair shot, and early last year I was rewarded with For the Fallen Dreams' Changes. And the now-defunct Here I Come Falling's Oh Grave, Where Is Thy Victory. The follow-up to their late-2007 EP Voyage.

Tracks such as the opener, “A Great Fire,” strike hard and often, while others slow down the pace to create strong crescendos, with “You’re All I Have” being a prime example.
