RUMINATIONS OF A REVEREND: Good Gospel Stewards
http://pastorsheets.blogspot.com/2014/08/good-gospel-stewards.html
RUMINATIONS OF A REVEREND. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. The gospel is the most valuable treasure we've been entrusted with as believers and Christ doesn't want us to bury it, but invest it in the lives of others and watch it grow. The servant that buried the treasure was rebuked, but those who invested and grew their mina on loan from the master were commended. So how are we doing in our investment of the gospel in the lives of others? Have we invested the gospel in others and seen it grow? If you commit yo...

RUMINATIONS OF A REVEREND: Normative Christian Living
http://pastorsheets.blogspot.com/2014/08/normative-christian-living.html
RUMINATIONS OF A REVEREND. Thursday, August 14, 2014. For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel. Doesn't it make sense for someone who says they are following the great Disciplemaker to have making disciples a normative part of their life? Is sharing the gospel and making disciples a normative part of your Christian life? In Jesus Christ's precious name, Amen.". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

RUMINATIONS OF A REVEREND. Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Are you a beggar? So I'm an experienced beggar, not only from my college days but also as a child. Numerous pleas to my parents consisted of begging. "Please, please, please Mom and Dad, let me go to my friend's house for the weekend? If you're a parent, I imagine you've heard a little begging from your children as well. The apostle Paul was a beggar. Did you know that? Did you notice that last phrase? Am I a beggar? Are you a beggar on behalf of Christ?

RUMINATIONS OF A REVEREND: September 2010
http://pastorsheets.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
RUMINATIONS OF A REVEREND. Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Did you have fun? So I'm driving with my family in the car out to Cooperstown Bible Camp and my wife is talking to her mother on the cell phone. In such confined quarters, I can't help but overhear my wife's part of the conversation, and one of her comments seemed to slap me in the face. She said, "Are you having fun? I know that's a common expression we use all the time. We ask our children, "Did you have fun today? Was your character strengthened?
